A while back my painting ‘Looking At The Overlooked’ had sold at a show on Salt Spring Island. The painting was traveling elsewhere and I’d offered to deliver it. This was the first time I’d ever delivered a painting to a residential home with an elevator! 

Recently I had the opportunity to go back and view where this piece now hangs. I’m pleased to have my work in this home which is based on Frank Lloyd Wright’s principles of organic architecture. It’s filled with truly gorgeous sculpture, ceramics and beautifully designed functional furniture. I’ve come away with my head full of the glorious textures, earthy colours and gracious hospitality of the space where my lucky painting now resides.
